Monitoring a CNC machine with a Raspberry Pi?
A Ras Pi 3 or 4 will be needed. The Pi Z does not have an ethernet port (only able to connect via WiFi).
With a PoE hat installed, there will be no need for a power plug and will remove clutter.
If we chose the ethernet pass-through option, an adapter will be needed. The best part I could find is from Grainger. All on Amazon were only 100MB data transfer.
